Compare four loose natural old-mine cushion diamonds close to five carats: the 5.01 ct H VS1, 5.02 ct H VS2, 5.03 ct F VS1 and 5.16 ct G SI2. The table uses their catalogue measurements and GIA report references, with the same public USD asking prices used on our other buying pages.

These stones offer different outlines and combinations of colour, clarity and proportions. Use the table to narrow your choice, then compare the individual stone in motion. Availability and a written quotation are confirmed before inspection or payment.

How to read the comparison

Outline and face-up dimensions

The length and width show the external dimensions of each stone. Compare these with the on-hand videos to decide whether you prefer the gently rectangular outline of the H-colour stones or the longer outlines of the F VS1 and G SI2. Carat weight alone does not describe that difference.

Colour and clarity

The GIA report records each diamond’s colour and clarity grade. For the G SI2, ask for close views of the inclusions and discuss their visibility in the viewing conditions you care about. For every stone, review the report together with current photography and physical inspection.

Depth, table and the side profile

Compare the depth and table figures with the side view. Discuss the intended setting with your setter, especially if you want a ring that sits close to the finger. Proportions provide context for the individual stone; assess its brightness and facet pattern through video and inspection.

Choose the next stones to inspect

Send the references of the two or three stones you prefer, your budget, intended use, country and timing. Tell us what you want to compare more closely, such as outline, inclusions or the side profile. We will confirm current availability and the views and inspection arrangements available for those stones.

Prices are for loose diamonds. A setting, taxes and duties depend on your requirements and destination. Inspection costs, payment and return conditions are agreed in writing.
