This 5.01 carat cushion has a rounded rectangular outline and broad facets surrounding a clearly defined open culet. The photograph shows a generous central pattern with smaller facets towards the edge. Its modest elongation would work well in a classic solitaire.
The 10.85 by 9.39 millimetre face gives a 1.16 length-to-width ratio. GIA records H colour, VS1 clarity and faint fluorescence. In a viewing, we would compare it with the more angular five-carat cushions to see how the different shapes look in the same light.
