A genuinely appealing pair of hand-cut old mine cushions, matched for face-up scale, outline and the rhythm of their broad facets. With antique diamonds, exact duplication is neither possible nor desirable; the achievement lies in finding two stones whose individual personalities read as one balanced pair.
Its D colour places it at the top of the colourless scale, allowing the facet pattern and crystal to be read without body colour. The VS1 clarity grade should be judged face-up and in motion; our close views show the stone as it is seen, rather than reducing it to a line on a report.
